Westgate on Sea

July 1970 - the year the school closed. If you were ever a pupil of Wellington House, the Heritage Centre would be pleased to receive your memories of the school. Please contact the Curator. There is a special display on the history of the school in the Heritage Centre until 23rd August.

The display on Westgate in the seventies also ends that day and will be followed by one on the changes in the town in the last twenty-five years.

Our Victorian Schoolroom will be changed to a wartime one, based on the School Log Book of the time.
